A TRUE CLASSIC ... Masi Gran Criterium (1973/74)

Bike purchased in 1976 (used in great condition).  All  original Campagnolo Groupset & Frame Pump.
Note: frame a "Brev . MASI" hand built in Italy and bike built in Carlsbad, So.Cal.
I changed out to a Shimano groupset & cranks.  This allowed me to fit a Six Cog rear cluster, in the narrow rear. Original was a Five Cog Cluster with one "Cross-Over" ratio, so only provided Nine Ratios.

Old Road Bike .... Sealed Bearing Hubs.

The Bike was Hand Built by Ben Serrotta.  Serrotta built the 1984 USA Olympic team bikes.
Unused spare bikes were then Re-Painted and ID-ed as Serrotta bikes. This is one of them; a Nova Special.

Two of the first prototype; Sealed Bearing, Large Flange Rear Hubs, I designed and made them from: 7075 Aluminium Bar Stock, SS Hex Steel Axles using standard Skewers, over 40 years ago.... along with matching Front Hubs.
I just built them into the rear section of a home built stationary trainer; using some Metric 8020 off-cuts.
